The Booker School of Music is proud to host the 3rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Gospel Choir Workshop and Concert at Antioch Baptist Church. This uplifting event is open to all choirs, praise teams, and vocal ensembles across the community, inviting participants to celebrate Dr. King's legacy through the power of gospel music.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:

• Dates: January 13–17, 2025

• Time: 7:00 PM Nightly

• Location: Antioch Baptist Church, 110 W. 56th Street North, Tulsa, OK 74126

• Focus: Participants will learn selected songs to be performed during the concert and the commemoration service.

• Discussion Topic: "Who Are You Ministering To?"

This enriching workshop will provide an opportunity for singers to refine their vocal talents while engaging in meaningful discussions on the impact of gospel music in ministry and community.

 

CONCERT DETAILS:

• Date: January 18, 2025

• Time: 7:00 PM

• Location: Antioch Baptist Church

The culminating concert will feature the Gospel Choir performing songs learned during the workshop, offering a powerful celebration of unity and faith through music.

 

COMMEMORATION SERVICE:

• Date: January 19, 2025

• The Gospel Choir will present special selections in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This event is an extraordinary way to pay tribute to Dr. King’s enduring legacy of hope, love, and justice.
